OKR Cycles

Create and manage time periods for your OKRs

What are Cycles?

Cycles are time-bound periods (typically quarters) that organize your OKRs. They provide structure and rhythm for goal-setting, tracking, and evaluation.

Key Features

  • • Define start and end dates
  • • Track cycle status
  • • View all OKRs in a cycle
  • • Quarterly or custom timeframes

Typical Duration

  • Quarterly: 3 months (most common)
  • Semi-annual: 6 months
  • Annual: 12 months
  • Custom: Any timeframe
How It Works

Creating Cycles

  1. 1. Navigate to OKR Cycles
  2. 2. Click "Add Cycle" button
  3. 3. Enter cycle name (e.g., "Q1 2024")
  4. 4. Set start and end dates
  5. 5. Save and start planning OKRs

Managing Cycles

  • • View cycle overview and metrics
  • • Edit cycle details and dates
  • • Track all OKRs in the cycle
  • • Delete cycles (with confirmation)

Best Practice

Create your next cycle before the current one ends. This allows time for planning and ensures a smooth transition between cycles.
