OKR Cycles
Create and manage time periods for your OKRs
What are Cycles?
Cycles are time-bound periods (typically quarters) that organize your OKRs. They provide structure and rhythm for goal-setting, tracking, and evaluation.
Key Features
- • Define start and end dates
- • Track cycle status
- • View all OKRs in a cycle
- • Quarterly or custom timeframes
Typical Duration
- • Quarterly: 3 months (most common)
- • Semi-annual: 6 months
- • Annual: 12 months
- • Custom: Any timeframe
How It Works
Creating Cycles
- 1. Navigate to OKR Cycles
- 2. Click "Add Cycle" button
- 3. Enter cycle name (e.g., "Q1 2024")
- 4. Set start and end dates
- 5. Save and start planning OKRs
Managing Cycles
- • View cycle overview and metrics
- • Edit cycle details and dates
- • Track all OKRs in the cycle
- • Delete cycles (with confirmation)
Best Practice
Create your next cycle before the current one ends. This allows time for planning and ensures a smooth transition between cycles.
