Add team members with appropriate roles and permissions
Add new team members to your organization by sending email invitations. Each member is assigned a role that determines their access level and permissions across the platform.

Only users with specific roles have permission to invite new members to the organization:
Can Invite
- • Admin - Full invitation rights
- • Product Leader - Can invite new members
Cannot Invite
- • Team Member - No invitation rights
- • Stakeholder - No invitation rights
When inviting a member, you must select one of three roles. Each role has different permissions across the platform:
Team Member
Standard role for team members who actively contribute to product development.

When inviting a member, you can optionally assign them to a specific team. This helps organize members and can be used for filtering and reporting.
Why Assign to a Team?
- • Organize members by product, project, or function
- • Filter OKRs and activities by team
- • Track team-specific metrics and progress
- • Facilitate team-based collaboration
Team Assignment Details
- • Team assignment is optional
- • Members can be reassigned to different teams later
- • Members without teams can still access all permitted features
- • Team Leaders can manage their team members
Note
You can create new teams in the Teams section before inviting members, or add members to teams after they accept their invitation.
Steps to Invite
- 1. Click "Invite Member" button
- 2. Enter member's email address
- 3. Select role (Team Member, Product Leader, or Stakeholder)
- 4. Optionally select a team
- 5. Send invitation
What Happens Next
- 1. Invitation email sent to the member
- 2. Member receives secure activation link
- 3. Member creates password and activates account
- 4. Member gains access based on assigned role
- 5. Admin/Product Leader can view invitation status
Important
- • Invitation links expire after a set period (check with your admin)
- • Members must use the email address the invitation was sent to
- • You can resend invitations if they expire or are not received
- • Role changes can be made after the member accepts the invitation
